Oi, buy my book

Post by JigokuBosatsu »

Curse you Amazon and your sales data!!!!

So I just felt a little kick in the pants and thought to myself, who can I suckerconvince to buy my book... oh yeah, people on the den are accomodating! So please, buy my book. It's so fucking awesome, I just can't even begin to explain. Plus it will help subsidize the writing of my next one, a grimdark Dying Earth "Snow White", tentatively titled "1000 Points of Death".

Hardboiled recordshop retailworker? Interesting genre choice.

It was written in 3 days, based on a lunchtime discussion. Some of it just flowed... like the protagonist's job. I don't know where the fuck that came from, but it fit. With all the other crazy nonsense.

It's on my buy-list. Next time I need super saver shipping on four to five things. I'll add it to my list.

I special-ordered it through my local independent bookstore. Should make an interesting Christmas gift for someone. However, the bookstore was unable to locate Antipaladin Blues. Is your previous book still sold? It looked interesting, but I didn't really want to start looking for until I finished this academic quarter.

It hasn't come out yet. The publisher I am under contract with may be folding, so I'm working on it.

Thanks for picking it up!

Reminiscent of Stross with a cute Orwellian handle? Color me piqued.

Got for Xmas. Read.

Enjoyable, although the 3-day timeframe shows through with a few plot holes and unconnected bits.

Thanks, JK. Glad you enjoyed it. Here is the download link for the soundtrack I recorded, in case anybody wants to have a listen:

Awesome. Didn't know the book came with a soundtrack.

FWIW, I did see Morphine live at Metropol within the final year of Mark Sandman's life. The most memorable part of the show is when he explained how easy it was to play the 2-string bass, and then had a string break halfway through "sharks patrol these waters" and continued to give it a sporting try on the now 1-string bass.

"Swim like a motherfucker." Love Morphine. I've never done the full two-string bass mod, but have done some sliding. Which is fun. Also played it with an ice scraper like it's a shamisen.

picked up "10 a boot stomping..." just now. It cost me 2$ more to add the book to my order rather than just get "Villa paletti."

Villa paletti is incidentally an awesome fun board game for kids and adults.
